VISIONS Bingo
Join us for a night of fun featuring 5 round of bingo! Event proceeds support VISIONS services in Staten Island that help people who are blind or visually impaired to live independently, navigate their communities safely, learn to use adaptive technology, and find gainful employment, all at no charge to them.
Dr. Valerie Williams of Williams Eye Works is a sitting board member for the Staten Island chapter of VISIONS. The VISIONS mission speaks to Dr. Williams both personally and professionally as an optometrist providing eye care to the community and as the granddaughter of Jeremiah Teehan. Jeremiah became blind during his forth decade of life and went on to participate in extensive vision restoration research resulting in Jeremiah becoming the first man to see by artificial means in 2002.
