The perfect eyewear starts with the right prescription.
Our in-house optometrist specializes in comfortable vision, starting with a state-of-the-art examination and assessment of your ocular health. Our experienced optometrists interpret your visual situation and tailors your prescription to your needs.
Comprehensive Eye Exam
During a comprehensive eye exam, our optometrist will:
- determine any necessary visual correction (glasses, contact lenses)
- assess overall health of the eye
- detect ocular and systemic diseases
Our office houses state of the art equipment such as the Maestro OCT and color fundus camera for detailed assessment of eye health.
Williams Eye Works is a center for primary eye care, with an extensive healthcare network for referral when needed. You can come to us with confidence that any irregularities in your eye will be detected and addressed appropriately.
Contact Lens Evaluation
During a contact lens evaluation, our optometrist will select a contact lens specifically for your eyes. The optometrist will assess fit of the lens, visual clarity and overall health of the eye.
Contact lenses are medical devices. When used properly, contacts are safe. However, since contacts touch the surface of your eye, a number of issues can arise threatening eye health and potentially threatening vision if left unaddressed. This is why routine contact lens evaluations are important, even for the most experienced contact lens wearers.
Medical Exam
For non-eyeglass related issues, Williams Eye Works offers medical eye exams. For red eyes, eye pain, sudden vision changes, and anything in between, the optometrists at Williams Eye Works are prepared to address your visual needs and concerns. Thorough assessment of the eye will allow for diagnosis of the issue at hand. From there, our doctors can make recommendations, initiate treatment, or facilitate referral to other healthcare providers as needed.
DMV Exam
Williams Eye Works offers DMV exams for license renewal, bypassing the need for a trip to the DMV. If you have been examined by us in the last 6 months, there is no fee for your DMV exam at Williams Eye Works! If you have not been examined by us within the last 6 months, there is a $15 fee.
