Better on the Big Screen Movie Series at the St George Theatre:
The Nightmare Before Christmas + The Flesh Junkies
Williams Eye Works is a proud sponsor of the Better on the Big Screen movie series at the St. George Theatre. The historic theatre is screening Tim Burton’s classic “The Nightmare Before Christmas” Friday, 11/24/23. The event is featuring a pre-show concert by The Flesh Junkies and a costume contest! Doors open at 6:00pm.

Richmond Rockets Annual Halloween 5k
The annual Richmond Rockets Halloween 5k took place at Staten Island’s Silver Lake Park on the Sunday of Halloween weekend, 10/30/23. Pictured above is the Williams Eye Works team dressed in costumes for the event.

North Shore Rotary Spelling Bee
Ryan Williams and Alex Ziselman, event and project co-chairs, hosted North Shore Rotary’s Inaugural Adult Spelling Bee on 10/19/23 at LiGreci’s Staaten. The event was designed to support the club’s Literacy Project which was initiated in 2022 in partnership with Tiny to Tall Tutoring. The project aims to support second and third graders in the Staten Island community by ensuring the development of essential reading skills to aid life long success.
The spelling bee featured six competing teams: A2Z Travel Design, Community Health Action of Staten Island, North Shore Rotary, Surmanek Wealth Management, Williams Eye Works, and Rab’s Country Lanes. Ryan Williams served as the event’s emcee.
